Introduction

Diligentia College was established in 2016 and is located within the picturesque surroundings of CUHK-Shenzhen. It is the second college established under the University’s collegiate system. In recognition of the generous donation from the Genzon Public Welfare and Charity Foundation (Genzon Foundation) and its ongoing contributions to the University's development, the University named the second college "Diligentia College."

Diligentia College upholds the University's whole-person education philosophy and is dedicated to establishing and enhancing an educational model that integrates education into personal growth and community life. Diligentia strives to be a college that offers students an intellectually, personally, and socially enriching environment where they can unleash their innate potential, develop into thoughtful, compassionate, creative, and responsible individuals, and prepare for future leadership roles. The College advocates a nurturing approach to hone students' holistic development through non-formal education. Various co-curricular activities have been introduced to cultivate students' physical and mental wellbeing, inculcate their sense of citizenship and social responsibility, strengthen their national identity and global perspective, enhance their aesthetics, and foster an innovative spirit. Through these activities, students can achieve comprehensive development in terms of moral character, intelligence, physical and mental health, social skills, and practical abilities.
