Diligentia Grand View

Diligentia Grand View, a series of events organized by Diligentia College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. The programme aims to enhance young scholars' understanding of cutting-edge technologies, industry trends, and career development through visits to innovative enterprises in the Greater Bay Area, participation in international exhibitions, and cross-regional cultural exchanges. With over a dozen installments already conducted, it has attracted outstanding youth from various countries. Students have had the opportunity to visit numerous prestigious corporations, including Huawei, DJI, Tencent, Mindray Medical, XPeng Skyworth, and Sinovac, where they have gained firsthand experience of the impact of technological innovation and corporate culture. This initiative has fostered innovation, cultural integration, and collaboration between enterprises and universities, providing a crucial platform for students to explore future opportunities and expand their horizons. 

Five Institutions Collaborate for Bay Area's Future - Diligentia College Leads Hengqin Experience, Pioneering Industry-Education Integration

From January 11th to 13th, Diligentia College, CUHK-Shenzhen, along with Ho Yin Tung College of the University of Macau, Lee Woo Sing College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University's Show Chung College, and Xi'an Jiaotong University's Nanyang College, participated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau-Jing-Qin Five-College Exchange Camp. The Yuxin Technology visit was a key feature, showcasing fintech's data and intelligent networks. Executives discussed innovation-driven career paths, blending academic theory with industry practice in the Bay Area.

Diligentia College X Qinghai Yushu Tibetan Medicine Vocational School --- Mibdray

On 14th January 2025, the Diligentia College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, led a group of teachers and students from the Qinghai Yushu Tibetan Medicine Vocational School on a visit to Mindray Medical. During in-depth discussions with experts and HR personnel, we learned how Mindray harnesses its ingrained spirit of innovation to maintain the warmth of quality healthcare.

RSADC X The 26th Shenzhen High-Tech Fair

On November 14, 2024, members of the Dormitory Association of Diligentia College at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen led the students of Diligentia College to the scene of the 26th China International High-Tech Achievements Fair. This visit not only allowed the students to witness the vibrant development of China's advanced technology but also planted the seeds of science fiction dreams in their hearts, inspiring profound thoughts and strong aspirations for the infinite possibilities of the future.

On the afternoon of August 14, 2024, Diligentia College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, together with the students of the Finance EMBA program, visited XPeng to witness the development trends of China's low-altitude economy and experience the cutting-edge achievements of the self-driving flight era.

Witnessing the "Convergence" of Bay Area Intelligence, Empowering Life Sciences

On the afternoon of April 19, 2024, Diligentia College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, together with the University's Academic Exchange Office, led students from different countries to visit Sinovac Biotech, Sinovac Science Park, and Tencent Technology, exploring the miracles born at the intersection of medicine and technology, witnessing how modern technology empowers biomedicine, and experiencing the cutting-edge achievements of the intelligent information age.

Pursuing Scientific Miracles, Radiating the Brilliance of Life

On the afternoon of October 24, 2023, with anticipation and curiosity, the students participated in the Diligentia Grand View event, which was part of the Diligentia College's 7th anniversary - "Windows to the World" French Culture Experience series. Together with the students from United College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, they followed in the footsteps of predecessors, visiting the world's vaccine production giant - Sanofi France, to understand the past and present of vaccines, experiencing the advancement of modern medicine and the responsibility and benevolence of vaccine producers through on-site visits.

Understanding the Bay Area's Strength in Science and Technology Innovation, Catching the Wave of International Integration

On the morning of October 13, 2023, teachers and students from the Academic Links Office and Diligentia College of CUHK-Shenzhen, along with exchange students from different countries, visited Kexing Biotech, Kexing Science Park, and the headquarters of Genzon Group. They deeply understood the development trajectory of Genzon Group at the iconic cultural site in the park - "Dafudi."
 

Exploring Cutting-Edge Technology, Understanding Corporate Philosophy

On March 24, 2023, teachers and students from Diligentia College of CUHK-Shenzhen and United College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong jointly participated in the fifth Diligentia Grand View event, visiting Siemens (Shenzhen) Magnetic Resonance Ltd., Kexing Biotech R&D Center, and Sinovac Science Park, listening to speeches and sharing from company executives. The students gained a close-up experience of the company's leading position in cutting-edge technology and emerging economic fields and received inspiration for their life planning.

On April 1, 2018, over 10 senior graduates and graduate students took a “special car” from Diligentia College to Kexing Science Park in Nanshan District to participate in Genzon Group’s 2018 Spring Campus Job Fair.

"Bird Island" Walkthrough

On January 25, 2018, with curiosity about Kexing Science Park, a total of 15 students from Diligentia College of Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and Tsinghua University’s “Yao Class” took a direct ride to the workplace, starting a journey of exploring the linkage between knowledge and creativity, school and enterprise at Kexing Science Park.
